An extraordinary video course

Join Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, world-renowned trauma specialist and author of the international bestseller The Body Keeps the Score, together with Licia Sky, somatic educator and artist, for an extraordinary video course recorded live at the historic Théâtre Le Trianon in Paris.

Over the course of two intensive days, Dr van der Kolk and Licia Sky lead an exploration of trauma’s impact on brain development, nervous system regulation, and embodied healing—combining neuroscience, clinical insight, and experiential practices.

Dr van der Kolk’s landmark work, adopted by millions of clinicians and practitioners worldwide, draws on decades of research to show how traumatic experiences leave an imprint on both mind and body, reshaping the brain’s alarm systems and human attachment networks. It presents a compelling case for healing that goes beyond verbal therapies, highlighting the clinical power of body-based and integrative approaches such as EMDR, yoga, neurofeedback, and theatre.

This video course also features participation from AjoiA, a musical initiative supported by Dr Stephen Porges. Their polyvagal-informed soundscapes offer moments of co-regulation, grounding, and emotional integration between clinical sessions—enhancing the nervous system’s readiness to absorb and retain learning.
