The Complete Trauma Journey: From Survival to Recovery
When clients remain stuck—shut down, disengaged, or emotionally flooded—trauma is often the hidden culprit. This programme offers a neurobiologically grounded roadmap that addresses PTSD, depression, and unresolved memories as parts of the same survival response system.
The Three-Stage Clinical Journey:
- PTSD Foundation – Address the survival responses that keep clients trapped
- Depression Recovery – Reawaken shut-down systems and restore vitality
- Memory Integration – Process what’s been locked away safely and effectively
This isn’t just about treating symptoms—it’s about seeing PTSD, shutdown depression, and unresolved memories as interlocking expressions of unprocessed trauma, and learning how to address them somatically.
The Live Integration Session: Where Theory Becomes Mastery
This exclusive 90-minute session is where clinical theory transforms into therapeutic artistry. Janina doesn’t just review the material—she weaves the three modules into a cohesive clinical framework, using your actual practice experiences as the foundation.
You’ll arrive with real cases, genuine questions, and honest reflections about what worked (and what didn’t). Janina responds with:
- Live synthesis of how PTSD, depression, and memory work interconnect in complex presentations
- Real-time case consultation on your submitted clinical experiences
- Advanced troubleshooting strategies for when interventions stall or clients resist
- Personalised guidance on adapting techniques to your specific client population
This is clinical supervision elevated to masterclass level—where your practice experiences become the curriculum and Janina’s expertise becomes your personalised guide.
Essential Clinical Skills You’ll Develop
✔ Track autonomic states and survival responses through embodied therapeutic attunement
✔ Recognise depressive presentations as adaptive trauma responses, shifting from pathology-focused to resilience-oriented interventions
✔ Implement body-centred techniques that increase energy, focus, and therapeutic engagement
✔ Address cognitive schemas and somatic symptoms simultaneously through integrated approaches
✔ Utilise the Social Engagement System to foster internal safety and neurobiological regulation
✔ Apply mindfulness-based interventions that support nervous system coherence and vitality restoration
✔ Navigate complex trauma presentations with confidence and clinical sophistication
The Three Video Modules: Your Complete Trauma Toolkit
- Module 1: Body-Oriented Therapy for PTSD & Complex Trauma
Foundation: Breaking Free from Survival Mode
Led by Janina Fisher, this module introduces a somatic treatment framework for working with clients who remain trapped in procedural survival responses long after the trauma has passed. Drawing on Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, it guides clinicians in using body-based awareness to bypass cognitive defences, unearth unconscious beliefs, and regulate autonomic dysregulation. You’ll gain practical tools for treating clients with dissociative symptoms, chronic hypervigilance, and entrenched shame states—when words are no longer enough, the body becomes the entry point.
- Module 2: New Hope for Therapy-Resistant Depression
Recovery: Reawakening Shut-Down Systems
This course reframes chronic, unresponsive depression as a form of autonomic collapse rather than a strictly biochemical or psychological deficit. Janina integrates insights from trauma theory and polyvagal neuroscience to explain how ‘shut down’ clients are not unmotivated, but protecting themselves through dissociation and learned helplessness. The course offers targeted body-based interventions that can reawaken energy, restore engagement, and foster new neural pathways for resilience and connection.
- Module 3: ‘I Just Want to Get it Out!’: New Approaches to Treating Traumatic Memories
Integration: Processing What’s Been Locked Away
In this dynamic training, Janina challenges traditional cathartic models of trauma resolution, presenting instead a safe, titrated approach to memory processing grounded in neurobiological research. You’ll learn how to help clients safely access fragmented or overwhelming trauma memories through body awareness, present-moment anchoring, and dual awareness. The focus is on containment, not re-traumatisation—allowing clients to metabolise what was once unbearable without becoming destabilised.
Why This Programme Changes Everything
⭐ Complete Trauma Spectrum: Address PTSD, depression, and memory work as interconnected rather than separate issues
⭐ Neurobiological Sophistication: Tools that address both cognitive and somatic manifestations of trauma
⭐ Practical Solutions: Breakthrough techniques for therapy-resistant cases where traditional approaches have reached their ceiling
⭐ Evidence-Based Integration: Seamlessly combines Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Polyvagal Theory, and mindfulness practices
⭐ Master Clinician Mentorship: Direct guidance from Janina Fisher on navigating complex presentations and therapeutic impasses
⭐ Real-World Application: Case studies demonstrating how theory translates into therapeutic breakthroughs
🟣 Clinical Leverage Where It’s Needed Most
Whether you’re stuck with clients who won’t talk, can’t feel, or struggle to remember, this trilogy gives you the clinical leverage to move forward.
